We came down by the factory
Industrial yarns where my father did work
When I was a boy I went to far
I lost the tread in the darkest of space
If I become antique you'll collect me
If I become cheap then you will respect me
My jumper is soaked in pig's blood
I'm coming out looking for you
If you pull a hatchet I'll pull something to match it
How about your wife, I'll give her a good life
My vehicle is in your drive
Hey I'm not that low
The wolves came on the radio
Transmitted through a portal in the snowy Atlas Mountains

Someone who had a picture-perfect farm life. Memories of this life seem to remain from the naturalistic imagery. Now he is frustrated and confused by the cold realities of industrial modern life

The song is called 'Snowy Atlas Mountains', I probably should have mentioned it.

What about the lines

'I'm coming out looking for you
If you pull a hatchet I'll pull something to match it
How about your life, I'll give her a good life'

There's obviously a girl involved.

The song is by 'Fionn Regan', if you want to listen.

Is this for homework or something?
There is some sort of animosity towards someone, maybe a love rival? "I´ll give her a good life" suggests that he would make a better match for the mystery lady.

Yeah..

But what is his relationship to this guy he wants to find and 'pull a hatchet' for him?

No I just love analyzing things and I love other peoples interpretations of things... I have my own interpretation of this song

Sorry I misquoted^ How about your wife*

Maybe the 'pull the hatchet' is asking the guy to murder the narrator...

But then again, if he wanted to die, he wouldn't then suggest he'd look after his murderer's wife. So maybe he's asking the guy to kill himself... Which would also explain why he's 'coming out looking for' him... Which sounds particularly aggressive and ominous... So maybe he wants to kill him, but he doesn't want the reputation that comes with murder, hence why he asks the guy to do him a favour by killing himself and then sadistically or satirically adds that he'll pay him back by giving his wife a 'good life'... for humour...
