Tell me about the University of Bristol please (medicine)

I wasn't able to attend the open day and I have a medical school interview

1. What is the university like?
2. What is the med school like? (if you know about it)
3. Are there many things to do in the city?
4. Good things about the medical course / bad things about the course
5. Is the course different in any way to others?
6. Sports facilities? (Actually, I'm just being lazy, I can check that out myself. But the above would be really helpful please :biggrin:)
7. Why did YOU choose Bristol?

You would probably get more responses posting this thread here.

I can't advise you on the med school, but the city is a really nice place. There's always some interesting stuff to do, especially if you're friends with the right people.

As for sports facilities, I'm probably not the best person to ask this either as I'm a lazy bum (:tongue:), but there is a university gym that a few of my friends use, along with other alternatives scattered around the city. If you're into team sports, some Stoke Bishop halls can accommodate you on that.
