i.m

completely at the end of my tether,

fed up with uni (about to quit)

fed up with life

fed up full stop.

Your uni should have some kind of support service with counsellors (sp?) you can talk to. Try that

Wouldn't mind trying to help you out but some more details would be welcome. WIth what you've posted, the most anyone can offer is platitudes and if you're really at the end of your tether, they won't be much help.

Take the day off, spend all day in bed watching Scrubs, and then thank me later with +rep. Hot chocolate with a book in bed also helps.

I just lost my dad and I am struggling to get on with the work especially with the threat of being kicked off the course if I don't do it.. I am gonna quit though? no

my teachers are pricks though they've given me no support and it makes me not want to bother but dad wouldnt have wanted me to give up, I'm still really struggling though..

Like someone said try counselling, it really helps (well the one session I've been to has helped me, it's not the same for everyone!)

Um, no offence, but I think your uni are obligated to cut you some slack if you lost a parent. Don't take your lecturer's word for it, go to the supprt centre (like the OP should) and talk to them.

Well i admire you. I really do. Keep going and yeah , focus on the fact your Dad would be and IS so proud.
Good Luck with everything :shakehand

To the OP. yeah, it does happen to everyone. just plod along and do lots of thinking. if u SERIOUSLY think this is gonna get you nowhere then try and find a different path to wherever you wanna be.
And counselling yeah i think it's a great idea. Even if your uni doesnt have it then why not try ur GP, get them to refer you, try your local clinic ?

Good luuuuuuuuuck xx
