Yeah they know. About mutual lust, anyway.

I have a few questions about love. I'm curious to know

1. After how long of being with your partner did you feel that you were in love with them?

2. How do you know if what you're feeling is love?? Is it easy to confuse it with other feelings such as lust or infatuation?

:suith:

It's complicated to say - We've been together since we were 12 and I can't remember not being in love with him, It gets better and better over time too.

It's definitely not easy to confuse - you will just know it - It's a mix of lust and infatuation intensified with a mix of a million other feelings.

It's like the bible thing..

Love is long suffering,
love is kind,
it is not jealous,
love does not boast,
it is not inflated.

It is not discourteous,
it is not selfish,
it is not irritable,
it does not enumerate the evil.
It does not rejoice over the wrong, but rejoices in the truth

It covers all things,
it has faith for all things,
it hopes in all things,
it endures in all things.

Love never falls in ruins;

I don't think it's about 'just knowing' i think it's a gradual feeling, and you sort of have to realise it in a way, i toyed with the idea, rejected it even for a while but i couldn't match up my feelings to anything else but love  but hey, that's just me  x

i disagree with the bible thing, love often does fall to ruins. one day you dont think it can get any better, the next she's telling you she's changed and wont explain further...

By that, it means both parties stop loving, not that the relationship ends.

If you stop loving it wasn't real love in the first place.

Some people never fall in love, look at the divorce rate.

And two sides to every story. My ex has psychological complications that prevent her remembering or retelling the truth. She creates her own reality. I know I was always nice to her, and she would always be screaming at me no matter what I did. There came a point where I had had enough.
