Goldsmiths Social life
Hello, I'm trying to decided on my University and not certain of the social life for Goldsmith's, just wondering what it is like regarding clubs (locally) and what the union is like?
The student union is good only at the start of freshers, everyone goes into the local area (ie Amersham Arms, or Bussey Building in Peckham) or into London, ie XOYO. The SU is just not all that appealing than whats around.
I joined a society once and it just turned bad further into the year, but sports societies seem to do well, loads of people go.
If you go in Halls you'll most likely find some mates but I do have friends who's flatmates are complete anti-socials. Its not difficult though, most people here are nice and will hang out with you. Try to get into Loring or Surrey House.
