No I know.

My friend once had a crown with fruit gums on it.
I sucked those gums for a good five years without any real obvious damage.
Now they last just minutes.

Gums are often really hard :frown:, they're okay if you sit on them for a couple of hours to soften them up :biggrin:

semi-hard jelly sweets. the pastille ones are sugar coated and softer.
