What does SW stand for on the ucas app?

It saw it when I was choosing my course (might be related to science).
Anyone have any ideas?
It said 4SW Hon BSc
That is Bachelor of Science and Honours, but this SW abbreviation, it is in theplace where FT or PT should be. I thought it was a full time course, but now I've seen SW, Im not so sure. :s-smilie:

Indeed it does, 'sandwich' that is :smile:

So it probably means you can/have to spend a year at a work placement as part of your degree.
