What team do you support and why?

The football team that I have been supporting since I was 4 years old is Colchester United which is a team in England which plays in the 3rd division called NPower League 1. The main reason why I support them is because they are my local team and I have been to watch games since I was little.

So what team do you support and why?

Man United

There were lots of Man United players (pretty sure you could have had a full on outfield team around that point) in the England squad when I got in to football. As I knew more Man United players than any other team, I supported them. Seemed kinda reasonable at the time for a kid who wasn't brought up with the sport!

Liverpool.

My dad's from Cheshire and grew up supporting them and my mum's side of the family are from Liverpool so it was just natural really - though I'm from Cambridge.
Went to my first game aged probably 6 or 7? And managed to go to all home games during their 2005 Champions League campaign. The amount of 'dentist' appointments I had during that year.. teachers probably thought I had horrendous teeth

Cool nice to hear it! I know a lot of people who support Manchester United well at least they are doing better than what they did last year

Liverpool.
Because I'm from Liverpool.

Wolves  or at least I'm obliged to since some of my family live there. But I'll usually support the underdog in any match, with a few exceptions..

I'd probably argue that it's more of a case of other teams are doing worse!

A long suffering QPR supporter - for no other reason than it's my local team.

Arsenal.. Got into football when I lived in London, and most of my friends supported arsenal.. Stayed neutral for a season or two before getting in bed with the gunners.. It's been a rocky ride since, until we her put a Sanchez sized ring on my finger..

Manchester City, because that's who my dad supports, and who my granddad supported.

Every reason. Dad/older brother both match going gooners. Grew up around Holloway/Archway/Camden and everyone growing up supported Arsenal really as well. Our primary school got a specially reserved area for the double parade in 2002 for instance. You just were, probably 95% of my primary school supported Arsenal. To choose not to be an Arsenal fan would be absolute ridicule from everyone I know tbh. ''what's wrong with you man?'' would be what someone from round Holloway who's not a gooner gets asked

As well as that, Arsenal fans of my age tend to worship Arsene Wenger.

Leeds Utd

I like a challenge

West Brom.

Born, raised and live in West Bromwich.

Liverpool.

First memory of football was watching England vs Romania at WC 1998, and then the Argentina match, so I fell in love with Michael Owen and identified with him.

Arsenal - I have always liked the style of play and also am related to an Arsenal legend.

But SC Freiburg from Germany is my other team as they are my local team.

Feel sorry for kids in Bedfordshire these days. I grew up there and there was no local team to support really.

Luton Town's fanbase are full of thugs, Rushden and Diamonds/Kettering have gone bust, and no self-respecting football man will support MK Dons.

Arsenal- Born into it I guess. Whole family supports them bar my dad who's a big Chelsea fan.

PSV Eindhoven- Because I grew up in this football club's city (Eindhoven) in the Netherlands. First football match I went to aged about 6, first jersey I owned etc etc they are very special to me. I still catch up on the Eredivisie which is great! So yep, this gal's been into football a long time actually :yep:

Arsenal are doing for me now what PSV did for me when I was little, both give me that same feeling. Love these clubs so much man :h:

That's Berkshire, a fair distance from Bedfordshire. London is a better shout.

Aston Villa. They have lovely kit colours, and I wanted to follow an EPL 1 team not EPL 2 or 3.
