I'm considering these kind of subjects also! English Literature, History & RE are the ones I'm definitely set on I'm trying to pick a forth one but struggling haha! I'm not sure between psychology, politics, sociology, business studies and classical civilisation!

Are you interested in the subjects?
Are they respected by universities?
Are the courses at univserisites that they get you on likely to interest you?
What are the job prospects for ppl who study these courses?

Some Qs to be thinking about )

Almost any subjects are OK for primary teaching courses.

English is a good choice because literacy is so important and maths would be useful ... you will learn sociology during your course so you may wish to choose a more academic subject?

Pick subjects you like - a humanity (Geog or Hstory) or a science ... might contrast with the others? It might help set you apaper when it comes to looking for jobs as a subject leader/co-ordinator.
