Talking to a girl

Ok, i guess this is a fairly comon topic, but here goes. There is a girl who walks past my bus stop everyday, and i miss the opportunity to talk to her day after day simply because i have no idea what say beyond 'hi my name is ...., are you (name). I know who she is as she is quite a popular person, so i thought i might add that in. But then what?? i seriously havent got a clue.

Generally i dnt have a problem talking to girls, but i need some help on opening conversations. Ay advice on wht i should say to her after this? I mean i know what school she goes to, and i dnt rely want to ask her out, but rather just progress with her slowly.

breaking the anonymous seal that has randomly been put on this thread surely if she walks past she is on the way to school or something and is probably in a hurry why would she stop anyway can't u catch her somewhere else?

when you see her, make sure you look at her face, make an eye contact and smile.if she smiles back, you are in there.
