You are invited to participate in a study of suicidalInternet users, comparing those who go online for reasons relating to theirfeelings of suicide to those who do not. We want to find out about the effectsof using the Internet for suicidal problems and what stops people from gettinghelp offline. We are seeking British citizens or permanent residents aged 18-24who have thought about killing themselves or who have deliberately harmedthemselves with the intention of resulting in death within the past 12 months.Participants will be required to complete an anonymous online survey of approximately 20-25 minutes. Those who use the internet for their suicidal problems may alsocomplete another section of no more than 30 minutes.
