What is the highest Degree band you can get?

Hi all,

I was just wondering, when you are working on your degree, which is the highest level that you can graduate with? in Scotland/Uk like what Band?

Does anyone who maybe has a degree have any tips on how to get the highest/best possible?

Regards

The highest level degree you can get in the UK is a First, then it's 2:1, 2:2, and then Third I think.

1st class honours

followed by:

2nd class 1st division (2.i or 2.1)

2nd class 2nd division (2.ii or 2.2)

3rd class (3)

and finally

Unclassified or ordinary degree (no honours).

A foundation degree is considered equivalent to the first two years of an ordinary degree (normally 3 year course) and is a vocational qualification.
