If a guy managed to communicate thats he's wealthy without being a **** about it, is that a good thing?

Its really easy. Like say you all go somewhere together. And you offer her a lift back and it just happens that you drive an Audi A5 Coupe. That is a display of wealth without being a ****.

^^What Andy said.

However you'd manage to do it with being a ****, I'd suggest you keep the communicating-that-you're-wealthy to a minimum. Or it'll most definitely become dickish.

You could probably drive a moderately expensive car and wear designer label clothes, e.g. a Ralph Lauren shirt. Makes you look like you're well off, but not like you're showing it off - everyone needs clothes and a car.
Exactly...

Why would a man want to communicate that he's wealthy? To attract gold diggers?

I appreciate when people don't show off their wealth, irregardless of their gender/sex.

That would not be subtle. At all. The only reason someone buys a car like that is to show off their wealth.

I don't think girls are the only ones attracted to that? If a woman is offering to buy me multiple-hundreds-of-pound jeans then yeah, she's cool.

I disagree. If you're offering someone a lift back from somewhere its because you're being nice to them and you don't want them to have to take the bus or tube.

I wouldn't say an audi a5 is a sign of wealth, especially if a few years old. Just saying.

A man's wealth to a girl is like what a girl's good looks is to a man...

It's appealing and attractive when done right, but it should never be the only thing to look for.

If a guy picks me up in a sports car, awesome. If all he talks about on a date night is his sports car, not awesome.
