I keep meaning to see Interstellar, will have to wait until it's available to rent on iTunes. Nice to see Battle Royale and Pan's Labyrinth on there! Why do you prefer TTT over TROTK and TFOTR? Fellowship is probably my favourite, but it's interesting to see the reasons why other people prefer one more than the others.

Nice to see some Hitchcock on your list! Rope is probably my favourite, you should watch it if you haven't already. The last 15 minutes or so of The Wicker Man is some of the best in film history I think, so much suspense. Interesting to see Predator, I didn't think I was going to like it much before I saw it, but I really enjoyed it!

Loved the original Total Recall, have you see the remake? I haven't heard many good things about it, i'm not sure why they thought it was necessary to remake it.

Ahhh, I keep meaning to get around to watching The Double Life of Veronique, but haven't had time! I assume it's good, then? Atonement is such a beautiful looking film, as well.

I have been wanting to watch I Am Cuba and Red Desert for a while, have heard the cinematography and mies-en-scene is beautiful in both of them! I think Eyes Wide Shut is such an underrated Kubrick film, people always ignore it in favour of some of his other films, but I personally think it's just as great as some of his more 'well received' films. Great taste by the way!

It's excellent imo though I love Kieslowski's style in general. It's definitely a slow paced film but visually stunning. Atonement is one of those films that, although flawed in terms of pacing etc, is just so beautiful. I remember watching it years ago and being mesmerised and I loved the novel too.

Interstellar is the sort of film that, while excellent in its own right, feels like it won't be the same on a small screen- it makes me want to buy one of those ludicrously big 4K TVs and site six inches away from the screen so it fills my whole vision :ahee:
