I'm currently studying MATHS(C1, C2,S1), English lit and lang, Business studies and ICT. I got AAA and a B in my mock results(B in english) And i'm probably going to drop it at the end of this year since i'm really good at both ICT and Business studies.
But my question is, even though i am taking maths into second year since i know that it's a well respected subject to most Unis, will doing Business and Ict prevent my chances of getting into a top university because they are classed as "soft". I am not sure what i want to study yet but i have workshops coming up soon anyway so i am sure that i will decide then.

You have three soft subjects, Eng lang, Computing, and Business
You have Eng lit, which is a useful facilitating subject, and maths is a good subject as well. But tbh, the vast majority of people take maths anyway, so it's pretty much expected that you have it anyway for the vast majority of courses.
Yes, having only 2 real subjects will affect your chances.

Computing is a respected A-level, ICT isn't.
Plus, your comprehension skills need work: English Lit and Lang is one A-level.

That guy doesn't know what he's saying. Unless you're aiming for Oxbridge or LSE or a specific course like Med/Engineering (which I doubt you are), you'll be fine.

OP, your A-Level choices are fine. The top universities will be looking for a more specific set of qualifications in the 'harder' subjects, so you may have difficulties applying for a specialised course such as mathematics or engineering at these places. However, your A-Levels will open many doors for you.
