Need Suggestions for Research

Hello,

I am an undergrad student of BS.Environmental Sciences. I will be starting my research semester soon. I have chosen biochemistry field for my research. I would like to have some suggestion about what type of research work I should perform which could be completed in max.5 month period.
My supervisor has also given me the option to choose any topic related to these two aspects:
Pharmological Application of a species
Physiological Stress Evaluation

I would be grateful if someone who is related to biochemistry guides me regarding this.
