Help with research subject for biology?

So I need to do a big research of 80 hours about a subject in biology for my national exam. But I have really no idea what subject I can choose. It needs to be original, but I also should be able to really do my own research. So does anyone have any suggestions? Here are some subjects I was thinking about:
- Optical illusion
- Placebo effect on the learning ability of children
- Difference between the men and women brain

But what kind of research can I do with this subjects and does anyone know a good research question? I would be grateful if you helped me.
