Erm... well unless you've actually been pregnant I guess you wouldnt know!

I dont know either, Ive never been. My best friend had a baby not long ago and she was sick nearly every day, and had the most horrendous birth ever.

Not much fun. Not being able to eat until about 5PM and puking up every day whilst taking my A Levels was a real highlight, I can tell you.

There probably isn't that many people on here who have been in that situation!

I guess it is different for everybody.
Personally I didn't find it very nice, feeling like a snake that has swallowed a melon. You can't move as well in advanced pregnancy, I can't imagine how people can stay fat. Mind you I did sports as long as I could.
The nicest part is when it is all over. Childbirth was fast and nearly painless (2hrs) and I wore my normal jeans to go home again.

yep true I so feel for someone going through pregnancy its can't be the greatest of fun , but if you take care of yourself eat well remain health from start to finish them you'll remain strong and with a heathy nice baby is more than a good enough reason for going through with it all in the first place

hmmm it's different for different women... i felt sexier than ever when i was pregnant, and i could get away with really bizarre requests - people would just say "let her, she's pregnant".

the bump was difficult to keep warm in the winter, as well. feeling the baby wriggle and hiccup was really funny and tickly, and then he'd kick me in the ribs and take all the wind out of me!

the birth was ok, would've gone better if the midwifes only turned up as the baby was coming out. they tried to stick me on the bed on my back in my own home, you can probably imagine the sort of things i said to them! and they were trying to shove me full of drugs, which i did not want them to do under any circumstances. so it helps if you have sympathetic midwives.

anyway, back to the pregnancy stuff... you do get really emotional, sometimes over absolutely nothing. and your lower back hurts, you have to sleep with a pillow between your knees! oh and you can't lay on your belly, obviously. hmmm that's about it.

i enjoyed it for the most part, but i'm not doing it again cos your hormones take forever to stabilise afterwards. and the baby is there, like, you can't put it back!!

so there you go  hope that takes the edge off your curiousity
