6.8 on the scale, can cause considerable damage but Japan usually deals with quakes like this quite well.

Seems like there's a small one expected, but nothing major.

Try blaming this on Islam and multiculturalism
Japan had a bloke beheaded and are now raging (politely), PM wants to use this as a reason for them to have an offense rather than defence army and go kick some middle east arse. However the Earthquake is in fact the result of a million "ALLAH AKBAAARS!" from ISIS, Allah was tired of the repetitiveness of the phrase and wished he'd given them a greater vocabulary, however to shut them up and so Japan does not send in the mecha, he gave them a small Earthquake for the Japs, albeit he ponders whether he needs to just turn the entire region into sand, re-populate, and try Qu'ran 2.0.

Multiculturalism wise Japan isn't exactly known for it and their culture is.....sort of facing issues when it comes to online life's, loneliness etc. So the fact one in three live alone and people are paying for hugs, paying to watch others eat, paying to lay next to people etc has created such a large amount of negative emotion it in fact caused the ground to shake.
