I'm doing the AQA A level English Lit B syllabus, and I can honestly say. It's a pain.

One of the coursework pieces I'm doing is based on Educating Rita by Willy Russell and I've tried to find out as much as I can for the question I'm doing... but there isn't much online that's relevant or actually helping.

The question I'm doing is: The opening scenes establishes the play as a comedy. How do you respond to this view in relation to Educating Rita?

So I guess what I'm asking for are a few ideas to start me off?? I'm finding it difficult trying to find moments I find funny throughout the play and then link it back to the opening of the play? Which is a tactic I opted to go with, as I thought it was most logical.

Help would be appreciated
