usually due to tiredness

But I'm not tired at all right now. I actually got a pretty good nights sleep last night.

Try closing your eyes really hard :p:

I used to get that all the time. It was like a constant, annoying twitch. There wasn't really much I could do to stop it, sadly.

I now get a really sharp stabbing pain in my eye whenever I cough, which is probably more worrying.

This is really, really annoying me right now:mad: My right eyelid keeps pulsing every few seconds and it's been doing it for a few days but it's worse today. It's so irritating! Anyone else experience this? Anything I can do to stop it?
Welcome to stressville. I get this when I'm stressed/tired/both.

At one point I had both eyes doing this, and a twitch in my cheek, I looked like a psycho.

You need sleep. Go to bed an hour earlier tonight, have a nap etc. Get some excercise. It will stop, eventually.

I went to bed an hour earlier the past two nights. Maybe it is stress related. I have a bit of coursework I'm struggling with but I still wouldn't say it's particularly stressful.

I get that every now and again. Dont think its stress or tiredness that causes it though

Haha that's a funny feeling, it usually goes away after a few minutes with me though...

I had this in my left eye for about a month - I believe it was related to stress. After I got my A-levels, it turned out i had missed a grade by 2 UMS. IT was only after speaking to a dean who assured me that my grades were fine that it stopped. This is the only time it has happened and i found it very annoying too!

I used to get this quite a lot, havn't had it in recent years, though. It'll pass, I'm sure, and other than being slightly irritating, it's no real problem.

One of my lecturers (not the hunky one) has a pulsing eyelid. It looks like he's winking at you. Some of my girl friends want to sue him for harrassment.

Hi m8, I usually get this when I've stressed my eyes. Usually when I've been staring at something or concentrating and staring at something for a long period of time. It takes a while to go away, but you need to rest and chill out.

Even if you think you're not feeling tired or stressed or worked up, other things happening in your body might be.
