Meh, I preferred it when it was simply called the UEFA cup.

Someone would have said that, so I may as well do so

Napoli for me.

They have the best striker in the competition in Higuain, arguably, and Benitez has form having reached the final and winning the competition in two different formats with two different clubs.

I think Fiorentina-Tottenham can be the tie of the round, but Torino-Sporting and Wolfsburg all look interesting, too.

they are my second choice; benitez really knows what he's doing there and he has great experience in europe.

but i had to go for liverpool; what kinda fan would i be if not?
but seriously, we certainly have the capacity to win it although i'm a little pessimistic for some reason.
i feel like we'll stupidly mess up somewhere and all the extra games will have been for nothing.
a semi-final or final loss would be really depressing if we don't make top 4.

I'm convinced - in a season of fate-filled narratives - that Gerrard will come up against Benitez in the EL.

Lol I've made shedloads of Europa league threads.

Anyway Liverpool will win europa. I think they have the strongest team when all the players are fit.
