Hi all,
I am studying A2 History with the topic being the causes, course and consequences of the American Civil War (Edexcel). Was wondering if anyone had any note/tips/resources to share? Anything is appreciated

I studied AS CIE History last year and Paper 1 was on this topic. I got an A, so I think I can help.
"History of the USA 1840-1941" by Pete Browning and Patrick-Walsh Atkins was very helpful.
It covers everything from sectional tensions from '46-61 all the way to Reconstruction thoroughly.
Definitely check out past papers from boards such as CIE to get an idea of what is examiable.
If you have any questions feel free to private message me for something more specific.

There's a website called Tes.co.uk which is really good otherwise there's spark notes which compresses the whole course into such a small amount but it's so good x
