B750 - Model House of Commons Flag Bill 2015, O133 MP

Model House of Commons Flag Bill 2015

An Act reintroducing the Union Flag as the national flag of Britain.

BE IT ENACTED IN ACCORDANCE with the provisions of the Parliament Acts 1911 and 1949, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1: Redesignation of the House Flag
(1) The flag of the TSR Model House of Commons as chosen under the National Flag Act 2012 shall be redesignated as a flag to represent the institution of this House only.

2: Reintroduction of the National Flag
(1) The Union Flag, combining the crosses of St George, St Andrew and St Patrick, shall be reintroduced as the national flag of the Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

3: Commencement, Short Title and Extent
(1) This Act may be cited as the MHoC Flag Act 2015.
(2) This bill shall extend to Great Britain and Northern Ireland; and
(3) Shall come into force immediately.

Don't agree with the union flag and it's religious connotations and ties to monarchy so nay.

I am shocked at this Bill, how things have changed since I was a TSR MP.

I thought you now would fly the EU flag at every opportunity to upset UKIP MPs.

It's still a possibility O133 is a big nationalist but this might not (hopefully won't) get though.
