Help in working out my marks? Please?Watch
I posted something similar on a different thread but didn't really get any replies-
I was wondering if someone could tell me exactly how many raw marks are needed on each paper (F331, F332, F334, F335) to get an A overall in Chemistry OCR B Salters?
And the same for Edexcel Biology (6BI01, 6BI02, 6BI04, 6BI05)? If it's not too much of a bother?
Working out these marks has bothered me for a while- thanks
it is based on a thing called UMS which is decided once all the exams have been marked, although someone could correct me if I'm wrong?
Type into Google "Edexcel UMS converter" to find how many raw marks you need to get an A. Download the excel document, make sure to turn off read-only. For biology an A is always 96/120 UMS (80% of the total UMS). 96/120 UMS is always an A but the raw mark for an A changes each year.
As far as I'm aware OCR doesn't have a UMS converter
Maybe I'll ask my teachers to work it out for me...
