Organic Chem- O-H and O-D stretching frequency

Why is there a big difference between O-H bond stretching frequency (3600 cm-1) and O-D stretching frequency (2600cm-1) ?
because reduced mass for o-d is greater.

Isotope effects the stretching frequencies as the different masses change the energy levels of the harmonic oscillator. Happens for all isotopes but is pronounced in H/D because the %mass difference is so high compared to say O16/18 or C12/13
