Biology: Imperial vs Exeter

Hi

I've got offers from Imperial, Exeter, Nottingham and Manchester (rejected from Oxford :unimpressed:) to study zoology or ecology and environmental biology at Imperial. At the moment, I'm really undecided about whether to put Exeter or Imperial as my firm choice, does anyone have some advice/experience on any of these unis? Please help!

Thanks

Abi

Anyone??
Very interesting subject. You have my respect. Exeter's is probably better for conducting your own research due to its location, but Imperial obviously has that wow factor which Exeter simply doesn't. Have you visited either?

I studied zoology/ecology at Imperial. Good uni, great rep but course not so good. It depends whether you want good content, or a good name. The Imperial name defo carries more weight and you'd probably get a better job, but they do work you SUPER HARD.

I'm at Exeter atm, and it's supposed to be really good for ecology sort of courses especially if you're down at the Penryn campus! Also Exeter is on the up, particularly within the sciences which has recently had a lot of funding put into it.

I definitely understand with the London living, I spent a year there last year and I have to say it's not for me. I prefer it being quieter ha.

Hope this help, and if you'd like to know anything more then let me know

Not very animally - we didn't actually specialise for over a year.
Manchester is a good city to live in and a cracking uni.. But out of Exeter and Imperial? Imperial hands down!
