^^I'm supposed to be completing an access course in April for Leeds. Hopefully it will contribute in lowering my standard offer significantly. I too would be interested in knowing how succesfull candidates are in achieving an 'alternative' offer once completing such courses - frankly I cannot see anybody failing their relative access 'course' but who knows?

Didnt say anything about my second A-Level (Film Studies) which I'm also retaking to get an A, had a B before..

Thinking about it I didnt need to retake my alevels did I - had a B before!!

I got a conditional (70% + ) offer to study Computing .

Its not looking good thou as I havn't really applied myself this year, too busy wasting my money on much needed alcamahol :biggrin:

Anyone know what happens if you fail to reach the grades and how leniant they are? Is it a case of showing you the door or being put in a pile of other failures and then they fill the places with the people closest to there required grades?
