P1 Maths - Sketch curve watch

1. f(x) = 1 + 2sin(4x+30)

Sketch the curve with the equation y=f(x+30) for the interval 0<x<180, showing the coordinates of the points where the curve cuts the x-axis.

what does y=f(x+30) mean? does it mean f(x) = 1+2sin(4x+60) ? but then the curve wont be translated 30 degrees to the left.

No, you need to use x = x + 30

f(x + 30) = 1 + 2sin[4(x + 30) = 30]

= 1 + 2sin(4x + 150)
3. come on man that is an esy question what dont u understand about that ques

thx
btw its f(x + 30) = 1 + 2sin[4(x + 30) + 30]
