English Literature Comparative Essay

Hi.

I've recently began working on my Comparative Coursework where i'm comparing 'Fight Club' by Chuck Palahniuk & 'American Psycho' by Bret Easton Ellis. I'm not certain what approach to take on the coursework and I was hoping someone could sort of guide me and give me pointers on what I could focus on that both books have in common. One suggestion was Men& Masculinity in Society.
