Hello and welcome to TSR physics.

This site is excellent for helping you to understand physics, but you need to put the effort in as it's not here to answer your homework questions for you.

The question, as you have worded it, is stated the wrong way around. Air resistance is a dependent variable, meaning it's value is dependent on other variables.

To understand what's happening, first define what you think is meant by air resistance and then tell us what variables YOU think contribute to air resistance?

We can tell you if you are on the right track or correct your thinking.

Over to you!
