M317 - Know your parties motion, The Rt. Hon. Aph MP
This motion call upon the government/speaker to run a mandatory survey of MP's political compasses and collect and publish this data to the house. This should be done over a week and will be used to determine how after recent turmoil the politics of the house has changed.

This data should also be used to create average party, house and government scores

The government should appoint a person to collate and publish this data at the end of this 2 week period.

I like the idea but there is no need for a motion.

I'm sure party leaders would be more than willing to set this up if they were asked.

I think we should all also do the new voteforpolicies survey for 2015. They updated it with pledges from recent manifestos.

I got quite a surprising result... Labour.

I know, but this is the only item I'm likely to get past the house

Nah, i'm sure you can come up with some more reasonable ideas

I'll vote Aye regardless of whether a motion is needed.

But I. Do agree that we should do a massive poll (if that makes sense) of all of these, if only just for the fun of it.

Yeah i completely agree.

It would also dispel the thoughts that the TSR parties are identical to their RL counterparts.

Perhaps we should compare our results to those of the real parties, i'm sure there was a template on the website showing all RL party positions.

It'd definately do that, we are all further left and more liberal for one.

Just took the Vote for Policies 2015 test and I was 50 percent Lib Dem, 50 percent Green. Guess I can live with that.

'Nay'.

This is not a legislative motion, could have been done in the appropriate thread and people can use their initiative. Get the thread and go for it.
