are my gcse's good enough, if not can i retake.

I am 17 and will be starting AS in September (I moved sixth forms) I plan on getting A,A,A in biology, chemistry and maths. while doing an EPQ on medicine. Also i am applying for work experience, volunteering & shadowing at the hospital.

but these are my gcse grades

will i have to retake to get into medical school, I dont mind which one i go to. and will they accept gcse re takes

You need to research all the different med schools, for some you will not get in with those grades and I don't think many accept resits unless you had extenuating circumstances. However there are some uni's which look at either the best of your as results or your gcse results, so if you get 3 A's at As you would get the same score as someone with all As at gcse. Leeds definitely do this and I am sure there are others (possibly Sheffield). Look at individual med schools web sites to see what the minimum requirements are and how they score applications, to see what they put emphasis on. Good luck.:biggrin:
