Oooh that's a bit of a pickle, I'd take an out of date passport myself. They may also take citizen cards. But being London and the amount of people they will have queuing probably means they wont card you

um...i just looked at the connections card website and it says this:

"You can also use your Connexions Card to prove your age as it shows your date of birth and a colour photograph."

http://www.connexionscard.com/x/c/cxc.jsp?P1=ABCX

i also found this:

"Can I use my Card as a Proof of Age Card?

Yes, your Connexions Card is PASS accredited which means that it can be used as a nationally recognised proof of age card. The Card shows your date of birth and a colour photo. Some shops and services may insert your Card into a special reader which will automatically show the person serving you, your age in years and months. Look out for window stickers to see where you can use your Card to prove your age. "

though i am still doubtful

Most clubs and pubs accept a Portman proof of age card. Its endorsed by the pubs themselves. You can get them for about £5.

I thought driving licences were always a pretty safe bet.
In Central London they hardly ever ID... I get IDed every weekend back home but whenever I go to Leicester Square or whatever they seem more chilled out.

If a bouncer at a London club I.Ds you, they'll want a drivers licence. Some don't accept passports because they can be too easily tampered with. Send off for that provision a.s.a.p!!

You are not going to get in the club if you dont have a driving license, and the thing about it being big queues and them not bothering is absolute bullshit, also to get into the good clubs you need to be in a mixed group.

Yeah most clubs have mixed policies, i.e. no groups of single lads...
