With no DM (Mikel and Matic are both out)? Spurs are nailed on favourites.

Play a 433 with Ramires? Or give someone from thd reserves a chance, I recall Bertrand starting in the CL final. Mourinho has a fantastic record in finals (has he ever lost one?) I'm sure he has something up his sleeve

A 433 with Ramires would get torn apart. We either have to play Zuoma or Ake in some sort of DM capacity to provide cover for the back 4, who will have no pace and the calamity of new years day will be repeated.

I'll go for a 2-1 win to either side after extra-time.

Mourinho's had 11 finals, won 9 and only lost 2. One with Porto and the other with Real Madrid. Fantastic record, could make it 10 wins come weekend ending.

Mikel and Matic both out.
Either Ramires goes in much deeper or they put in Nathan Ake who is their only specialist DM available. Would be a daunting task if he was to be selected.

Ake is a quality talent, hope he at least gets to feature as his forward distribution is very good. He's not as strong or imposing as Matic or Mikel but play him alongside Zouma or Ramires and he'd be okay.

I'd prefer Zouma to play CB over Cahill, worried that if we go Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Zouma as a back five that we'll have all cb's on the field same time. We really can't afford any of them picking up an injury with our fixture list.

Matic's ban is a huge, huge loss.

Of course, the big battle for me is between Kane and Cahill - or Zouma. I'd expect the latter to start, and it's all about how he deals with Harry imo.

Chelsea are favourites, no doubt. We've beaten them before this season though, but I'm not sure if we're capable of replicating that sort of performance against Chelsea in the same season. It'll be close so long as we don't play like we did against Fiorentina.

You have a very decent chance imo.

If Tottenham don't win this it would be an absolute disaster for them. They are in a rich vein of form whilst Chelsea are in absolute dire form, with their best player banned and his backup injured. This game is Spurs' to lose.

Is that Zouma in midfield then?

People on Twitter seem to think it's Cahill but could well be Cahill. Could even be a back 5 but that would be risky and just invite Eriksen and Kane onto us which we don't want to do as they're good distance shooters. Comfortable with Cech in goal though - only lost once at Wembley iirc.

Mourinho turning Cahill into David Luiz. Reminds me of when Ancelotti played Ramos in midfield in the first El Clasico last season.

Imagine it were a Spurs v Arsenal final though, the scenes will be unfathomable.

Feel sorry for Pocchettino (However it's spelt) I would have liked him to win his first major trophy etc etc it's just too bad he's spurs manager.

Spurs have the stronger line-up. But if there's one team who bottles it better than anyone else then it's Spuds.

I still think this is Chelsea's game to lose. Saying it's in Spurs' hands is just a mechanism to take the pressure off.
