I've received a conditional offer from King's for BA Philosophy and was wondering if any current students could tell me a bit about what it's like and how they find the course? Also how flexible is the course - for instance at the other universities I've applied to it's possible to take modules from other courses as well as philosophy - is this possible with single honours at King's or would it only be possible with a combined degree?

    Hi @littlegingerlion,

Hope you are well and congratulations on your offer

The BA Philosophy does offer a wide range of modules including Indian Philosophy and Philosophy of Psychology and you could also choose optional courses covering all areas of history of / contemporary Philosophy. There is also the option to take up to 30 credits across your degree in other departments (subject to approval) and you can apply to take modules in Philosophy departments elsewhere in the University of London. Does that sound like the kind of information you are after? If you would like more information we have an Offer Holder event on 11 March - let us know if you'd like more info!

Hope that helps ☺ Good luck in your exams!

P.S Here is a full list of the modules on offer in the Department of Philosophy itself: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/prospectus/unde...ame/philosophy
