How to plot a error bar on a graph when given the standard deviation?

I am really stuck and would appreciate some help, i am trying to revise on how to draw error bars in practice for my exam and don't know how to plot a error bar on a graph when given the standard deviation?

The SE = 2 x SD above and below the mean. For example, you have a SD of 3.5, your error bar will be 7 above and 7 below the mean.
