Hi is anyone able to give any information about accommodation?
what one is best? In terms of socialising, room size, location to the uni, shopping centres etc.

Not fussed about money just really unsure which one to apply for when the line opens :-)

Thank you.

I think St George's, went to the uni yesterday and what you were looking for is exactly what I was looking for..it's amazing but one of the staff I spoke to yesterday ( for accommodation) said that if I loved St George's then I would love the new house they are building which will be ready in September, it's called petros. Hoped this helped

I went yesterday.
At George's is the latest newest one before pedros court. £152. Is very lovely, flats from 4-7 people. Rooms aren't that big as of a big bed but you get plenty of storage. It's right by the travelogue and odeon cinema and literally right by town and close to campus. All en suite.
Pin hill - 10 minute walk from campus. Right next to club chemistry and Canterbury East station. Consists of 5 buildings with one only en suite bedrooms. Room sizes vary and storage space limited. Personally, I completely wrote this accommodation off. I didn't like it.
Lanfranc - gated security. 5 minutes from main campus. Rooms are decent size. All en suite. Right just outside of town near sainsburys. Large room you may be lucky to get a double bed but the standard are good size.
Parham - furthest away, 15 min walk but it is a massive student village consisting of houses and flats. Right by asda, along Sturry road. Majority are houses with accommodate upto 6/7 with standard size rooms still a good size. 2 bathrooms in houses and in all of parham you get a washing machine so no need to pay for laundry services and some you get a tumble dryer too
Hope this helps

Thanks to both of you!!

Think I'm going to go for St George's as my first choice!

Pedros court might have issues as its brand new (I know at another uni everyone was set on the brand new accomadation and then the heating broke for 6 weeks..)

What course are you both studying?

I haven't put insurance. I applied as an individual, so I accepted my offer and actually have my place at Canterbury
