Surfwear appears to be doing well overseas I see... I was merely asking other Aussies on their thoughts of Roxy plus Billabong, but good to see others from other countries (of course, namely UK) can relate

Anyway, for those interested in increasing their surfwear knowledge, I have done some research for you:
There are 4 Aussie brands currently selling our 'surf dream' (call it what you may) to the world. Quiksilver - a long standing industry fave, according to Overboard + Jetty Surf stores across Oz - has created the 'complete surf experience' (not my words!), merchandising streetwear, accessories, eyewear, watches and of course wetsuits. Roxy, Quiksilvers women's line, has made everything 'suddenly sexier', with bikinis (very true acully, I own a Roxy one and it goes off, uh, in a good way...for Brits who don't get Ozi lingo) and accessories fast on their way to cult status. Mambo, the 'comedians of cool', have transplanted their Oz sense of humour into gear that's edging out the big guns. And lastly, Billabong, who've recently launched a 'funky new Winter section, including scarves, beanies and gloves' to their collection.
All sold internationally, they're Aussie brands at the crest of the wave (go us!)
