It rocks! Backslashed Roxy jeans or not? Unfortunately they're $100, and with rent comming up, this should pose a prob. But my paycheck's supposed to be on it's way soon, so I'll see how I go. Maybe it'll be on special by then.

Oh I forgot, this is like, global (kinda...) so while the Brits'll still be asleep, us Aussies are awake, and there's heaps of time differences I don't even want to get into for the US and Can, and whoever else uses ukl... Danni must be patient

Meh, if the clothing is to your taste its cool, but surfboard wise. I wouldnt trust a Roxy board as far as I could throw one. Billabong boards arent that crash hot unless you go direct to the Billabong factory.

Surfwear appears to be doing well overseas I see... I was merely asking other Aussies on their thoughts of Roxy plus Billabong, but good to see others from other countries (of course, namely UK) can relate

Anyway, for those interested in increasing their surfwear knowledge, I have done some research for you:

There are 4 Aussie brands currently selling our 'surf dream' (call it what you may) to the world. Quiksilver - a long standing industry fave, according to Overboard + Jetty Surf stores across Oz - has created the 'complete surf experience' (not my words!), merchandising streetwear, accessories, eyewear, watches and of course wetsuits. Roxy, Quiksilvers women's line, has made everything 'suddenly sexier', with bikinis (very true acully, I own a Roxy one and it goes off, uh, in a good way...for Brits who don't get Ozi lingo) and accessories fast on their way to cult status. Mambo, the 'comedians of cool', have transplanted their Oz sense of humour into gear that's edging out the big guns. And lastly, Billabong, who've recently launched a 'funky new Winter section, including scarves, beanies and gloves' to their collection.

All sold internationally, they're Aussie brands at the crest of the wave (go us!)

Mambo stuff is pretty awful really, I dont like it at all..

Hello, here I am thinking Roxy won that poll, but then it has been brought to my attention that my mates at UC and other uni's are more partial to Billabong... man, I dunno, I guess it all boils down to personal choice and wear you live, these days.

..... Ok so Billabong's even got some American fans! Now there's something new I learned today (tho I should really be focusing more in Human Phys if I'm ever to even consider a career in physiotherapy - just think of massaging sexy pro surfers... OK, better get back into it - need to find out more about how the muscular system interacts with respiratory).

Billabong are decent, but their summer 'catalogue' so to speak is half as good as quiksilvers new stuff.

I'm trying to make another decision here - should I stick with the current avatar (or whatever it's called) here, it's cute  Or should I revert back to the 'Nadia/Shannon Elizabeth' one? (yes I know, but out of all the others, I've been told she looks the most like me, cept of course she could do with a bit of toning up, as in - she'd look just as hot as me if her body was more like mine  )

Nah, seriously tho, this cartoony avatar is way cute and would probably suit my personality more.

For whoever said there was no point buying anything 'surf' in winter, I just got my hands on a really cute-arse Roxy beanie! It's so warm too, good for abnormally cold Canberra winters, altho won't be needed as much back home in Melb come the end of semester

And, uh... the 'Imasillynarb' dude! You didn't answer my quessie, what do you reckon - this current aviator or the Nadia one (who looks a bit like me, but body not as hot)? Mind you, I prefer this one, cos it's cuter and suits me more.

quiksilver do teh nicest hoodies though for winter except they're so pricy.Beofre coming to uni i wasted all my wages on they're stuff but being a poor student now i can't justify 100 quid on a jumper.

I couldn't be arsed to read the other pages but to the person that said they ahd never seen girls in quiksilver type stuff you've obviously never been to the sout coust or the westcountry. You can't go on bournemouth beach at this time without seeing everyone dressed in surfy type lables clothes. Come late summer though when all the all the tourists come. The beach suddenly looses its surfy image and is taken over by random loud mouth people in townie cothes and all the locals seem to dissappear to avoid the tourists
