For the Aussie chickababes (or any UK surfie clothing fans too )
Personally I'm a huge Roxy fan, currently saving up for an awesome pair of back-printed Roxy jeans I saw the other day in SP - I know it's wrong, and should be concerned with a great deal many other more important things, but Roxy is just so cool. I used to be more of a Quiksilver/Billabong gal, but I'm thinking things have changed, even if ever so slightly.
You can't go on bournemouth beach at this time without seeing everyone dressed in surfy type lables clothes. Come late summer though when all the all the tourists come. The beach suddenly looses its surfy image and is taken over by random loud mouth people in townie cothes and all the locals seem to dissappear to avoid the tourists
ooh, tourists...yeah, I know what you mean. That happens here too, my cousins tell me about it. Summer's going along fine, then all these tourists visit, who don't have a clue how to surf - and then we laugh at them Fun!
roxy is gd especially the one at blue water and free spirit at blue water too has anyone else noticed the fit guys that work there? omg
So interesting to hear about the different shops (which sell similar things to over here) you get in the UK. Over here it's 'Overbaord', 'SP' and 'Jetty Surf'.

Tell me, in your experience, where is/are the happening place(s) in terms of boutiques, couturiers in Oz etc.? Is Oz a bit off the beaten track in terms of fashionable clothes?

Bessie Head, Wayne Cooper, Sass and Bide, The Universal Store, The Corner Shop, Ty + Melita, Lisa Ho,
Off the beaten track? my dear you are soorly mistaken. Fashion is not universal, there are ideas floating out about everywhere. About 2 weeks ago we had the most fantastic A.F.W we have had in a long while, Zimmerman surprised us with underwear and Willow surprised us with clothes. Soft lines and chiffron adorned the catwalks and sky-scraper heels at Nicolla Finetti. Newcomer and my new fave, Paablo Nevada had a very beautiful Greco-glam look going on. We are not off the beaten track...

No, Italian Bazaar. America has some allright designers, IE Michael Kors, but im not really a fan, though I do like Dona Karan. Id rather stick to Europe.
Never heard of it, obviously not present in Vic or ACT. I think what you're referring to is similar to this store called 'Cotton On'. Do you get 'One Teaspoon' stuff up in QLD?

No its nothing like cotton on! Its a "surfwear store" that doesnt even sell surfboards. Sure we get One Teaspoon stuff, they sell it at The Universal Store, General Pants. But its not my store. Ill stick to Bessie Head.
Massive sale on all Roxy and Quiksilver at Westfields around the country if any1 interested...
P.S. Sum1 told me that some who wear billabong try to justify their weed habit, ie. make it cooler. Is that true? That's pretty amusing considering the name of the brand. Sorry, just a random thought.
