Formulas for Maths GCSE

I need some help on remembering the formulas for maths higher gcse.. you know like How to work out volume of cylinder and frustrum. Does anyone know them all and who could post them on the site so i could memorise them please? The questions are normally worth aorund 5 marks so i better learn them! Does anyone have any tips how to remember the formulas? Thanks alot!

Oh i forgot to mention could you tell me HOW you work with the formulas too.

A lot of the formulas for maths GCSE are common sense I find.

You are given:

(p = pi and rr is r squared)

Area of Trapezium = 1/2(a+b)h

Volume of Prism = area of cross section x length

Volume of Sphere = 4/3prrr

Surface area of sphere = 4prr

Voluke of cone = 1/3prrh

Curved Surface Area of cone = prl

Sine Rule = a/sinA= b/sinB = c/sinC

Cosine Rule = I can't do this without symbols.

Area of Triangle = 1/2absinC

Quadratic Equation = Need symbols again.

To work oyut the volume of a frustum you get the volume of the big cone and take away the volume of the cone on top. Notice the formula for volume of cone is given.

When I took GCSE maths, I was given a sheet with a few basic formulas on it....not sure if that still happens now though.

yeah you get that still!

I'm getting off this site, it's eating up my revision time!
