if u dont av a gcse in english can u still do A Levels.because im not sure wot i shud do.

If you want to do A-levels and you have not got GCSE English then the college you study at will almost certainly insist that you take GCSE engilsh at college as an additional subject.

you can still do a-levels as long as its not in english, but you should really re-sit english and get a grade because if you want to go to uni. most have it as a requirement.

I think you need 5 passes at GCSE to get into uni, including maths and english and science I think - if you're not a mature applicant. And maybe if you're a mature one... not sure.

You could do A levels that didn't require english GCSE to do them, but as someone mentioned you should probably try to get GCSE english at the same time - maybe do it instead of one AS level or something?
