i got told be one of my friend of the this girl i'm trying to date that
"i think shes really stressed atm with work and that, maybe you should give her a bit of space" what does that mean has she gone off me and how do you give someone space. please help! :confused:

NO it means she needs her own personal space, I would just back off from her for a bit.

It sounds like this girl's friend might be trying to tell you that you're being too clingy. The girl you like might be creeped out or annoyed by this approach.
