Getting my hair coloured before going on holiday - mistake?

I'm gettin my hair coloured 4 days before I go away. I will most likly be having a red/pink and bleach blond put in however my question is....

How will sun/sea water/swimming pool water etc effect the colour?

it will be two and half weeks from having my air coloured that I will be going into the sea/swimming pool

Will it be best to not have the colour put in? I will speak to hairdresser when I have my appointment but if it's deffinant no then I should cancel the colours and just have a cut so she can make space for another person. It's a very busy place, I booked this appointment in october for december :eek:

it'll get lighter i expect from the sun i expect but i dont really know about the effects of the water. Id colour it after you get back

Swimimng pool with the chlorine can affect your hair dye and could unfortunately either fade the pink or could turn your blonde green so I personally would wait until you came back from holidays just to be careful :smile:
