Hey,

The Times have just issued part of their rankings. Has anyone already bought the book or checked the rankings out? If so, what are your views about them? Oxbridge still comes top of the year as usual. Any thoughts on LSE's position?

Any comments would be deeply appreciated.

You may check them out on

Despite the ranking, LSE still edges IC on reputation.

Kings up a place, which is nice. Completely unimportant, but nice.

Everyone knows what the elite group of universities are, so to make a decision on the basis of one uni being placed 2/3/4/5/6/7/etc above another one is just foolish. The reputation of universities are much more formidable league table positions.

yeah...I agree with you!Whatever tha rankings show, Oxford, cambridge, Imperial and LSE are traditionally "the elite" unis in UK.... According to the comparison between Imperial and LSE I think that is not possible because these 2 unis specialize in different subjects... Imperial for example does not have political and social science departments (whick believed to be special in LSE) and LSE does not have any Computer science and engineering... Am i wright?
