I have to write an essay about the relationship between the nervous system and endocrine system - to do so I have to take into consideration how thyroxine is regulated. Now, I'm very familiar with the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis but I'm not sure how the nervous system affects thyroxine levels.

Any thoughts on this?
