Changing course after a year

I am currently in the first year at Durham studying a 3 year BSc course but unhappy and am planning to change course and start again in a different subject from Oct 2015. I am planning to finish year one but then will be starting again on a different 3 year course. The new dept at Durham are happy to accept me but I need to know if I am entitled to funding for the full 3 years of the new course ( that would be 4 years in total)
Hi there.

Every student is entitled to +1 year on top of their normal funding which accounts for any repeats, etc. This would effectively mean you have used that +1 year and can get full funding for a new course for all years.
