ive been going out with my guy for a year (hes 25)
he thinks its amusing to break wind all the time, and thinks its even more amusing if it smells....
do you think its disrespectful towards me when he does it in my presence, knowing it annoys me so much??

what makes u think thats to do with my love life? every one farts at some stage, just some people like the guy shes talking bout mite want to announce it, no biggie really just tell him to stop announcing it...simple as really....tsch

put 5 -10 marbles in a small jar
leave it on the side
take one out everytime he farts
when it is empty the sex stops...

It's a good point though...men don't deal with embarrassment very well. Think of the show as a way of saying "yeah. I'm sorry. I know it's gross, but I don't know how to apologise properly, so I'm overreacting in a way I know will piss you off, but I lack the sensitivity to deal with it well. Please accept my rather awkward attempt at smoothing things over."
That, or cork him.

A little, but can you honestly say you never do even one little thing deliberately designed to annoy him? If so then you have no room to complain.
In general people like to do things to provoke those they care about. My dad and my sister do it to each other, my dad and I do it to each other, my friends and I do it to each other. Not big things, but little things designed to press a little button and get a tiny reaction.

Most guys are like that, but yes it is disrespectful to do it infront of someone they know hates it.
