Hi,

So I'm currently studying my BSc (Hons). I am in 2nd year. However, I am studying at a college/university. The degree is from Edinburgh University, but I am wondering if this will affect my employment potential when I graduate?

Huh? A degree is a degree. I don't really understand what you're asking. If you get a Bsc (Hons) then it's a Bsc (Hons).

You're at a university. They don't get any more university-ish than Edinburgh. Why in earth would Edinburgh be a problem with employment?

Edit: OK, I see. You're at the Scottish Rural University College and your degree is awarded by Edinburgh University.

In theory, it should be the same as getting a degree from Edinburgh. However SRUC is going to be pretty obscure. Probably not great on a general CV. Having said that, it is quite specialist by the looks of it and it may be well known within your chosen employment field, which could be an advantage.

Swings and roundabouts.
