i hate it when (usually female it has to be said) mps go on about how the men bully each other too much and that the public want quiet mature debate. That's simply not true. As if anybody watches PMQ for any reason except from the banter

This. The people who say PMQ's are too boisterous are the people who don't see or look at the other sittings of parliament - usually rather quiet, respectable affairs and slightly dull. PMQ's is meant to be theatrical, that's the point of it.

Although I see just as many men making the accusation as women.
